33滞在制作プロジェクト「ハカイとソウゾウのカイワ」 秋吉台での制作は、この土地が持つ音を探しそれを可視化することでした。カルスト台地や鍾乳洞、そして美祢の土地をリサーチすることによって私に見えてきたものは、水と石灰岩という二つの要素と、それらに関わって生きる土地の人の生活でした。何億年も前の海の記憶を持つ石灰岩の台地が、雨の浸食により形成した特異な地形と洞窟。また石灰岩で糧を得る人達や特殊な地形の中で生活する人。 私はこの土地を形成してきた海や雨といった水に関わる音と、この台地と共に生きる人達が発する音を拾い上げ作品にすることにより、太古と現在そして未来を繋ぐカルスト台地を再構築しようとしました。Residence ProjectHakai to Souzou no Kaiwa（In Japanese Hakai means destruction, Souzoumeans creation and imagination, and Kaiwa meansconversation and harmony.)My project at AIAV focuses on collecting and visualizingthe sound of this area. While researching into the karstplateau, limestone caves and the land of Mine City,I found two elements named water and limestone,and people's lives that are engaged in them. Thekarst plateau that has a memory of the ocean ofmillions years ago has been transformed into peculiartopography and limestone caves by rain erosion.People live in the unique geographical features earningtheir daily bread by limestone. Collecting the sound ofthe ocean and rain that have formed this land as wellas the sound of people, I attempted to reconstruct thekarst plateau to connect ancient times with the presentand future.アイデアスケッチ/ Idea sketch
