118マイク・ボード（1964年生まれ）はスウェーデンを拠点にしています。彼の芸術手法はしばしば社会や歴史、政治的な移行や新しいテクノロジーの影響を考慮した場の検証から始まります。共同制作で発展するこれらの作品は建築的で空間的な介入、デジタル・メディア、アーカイヴ素材、文章をはじめ、ビデオや写真も使います。2001年以降、マイク・ボードは日本を拠点に活動するアーティスト・コレウティヴである＊Candy Factory Projectsの主要メンバーでもあり、サイト・スペシフィックな作品やマルチメディアの作品を手掛けるアーティストの古郷卓司氏との継続的な共同制作を行っています。Mike Bode (b. 1964) is based in Sweden. His artistic practicefrequently takes its starting point in investigations of placeseen in relation to societal, historical and political shifts andthe effects of new technologies. These works which are oftendeveloped collaboratively utilise video and photographyas well as architectural and spatial interventions, digital media,archival material and texts.
