43滞在制作プロジェクト 私は亜熱帯都市で暮らしているため、長い間、自然環境から離れて暮らしてきた。だから、秋吉台国際芸術村の自然環境を観察することは、私にとって良い機会となった。芸術村の建物の全ての場所が、ステージのようであり、また芸術村は音楽演奏のために作られたものであるが、周囲には山や森や洞窟があり、様々な異なる音が存在する。私は、環境や音だけでなく、地域の歴史や伝説についても理解を深めるよう努め、この土地が明治維新発祥の地であるだけでなく、豊富な鉱物の採掘地であるということを発見した。同時に、若者の地域離れが進んでいることにも気づいた。そこで、想像力を使って、地域の人々に新しい視点をもたらそうと考えた。Residence ProjectI live in a subtropical city, and so I have not been able tostay in natural environment for a long time. So, this is agood opportunity for me to observe the nature at AIAV.I found that each corner of the building seems like astage, also the building was built be for music or someconcerts, but they also have mountains, forest andcaves, where you can find a variety of different sound.I did not only pay attention to the environment andsound, but also tried to understand the local historyand legends. I discovered that here was not only thebirthplace of modern Japan but also had many kindsof minerals. Unfortunately, the young generation hasleft their hometown, because they cannot make moneyhere. So, I thought that I could use the imagination tocreate new view for the local people.
