It became more interesting to thinkabout the ambiguity about who and why these broken ceramic fragments were thrown away since it was notpossible to determine the conclusive answer.Finally, I mention Kaori Oda who has a study-abroad experience in Bosnia and who is a remarkably activefilm artist. She handed out an 8 mm film camera to five voluntary participants and filmed themselves in theirpersonal space by asking about themselves in 10 years from now. It was like a video letter to themselves. Aftersunset, three video projections were made in the courtyard in AIAV. Away from nostalgic impression of the 8mm films, each person talked about their own future and it was directly relating with the theme of “trans” andmade us notice that “The Future of This Land” in this land were “people themselves”.In this season with lots of snow falls in Akiyoshidai, these artists expressed their variety of future based on thepast and the present in the area for the theme of “The Future of This Land”.
