62ビジュアルアートフィンランド出身 写真の分野で広域に活動する。スナップショットを使った非常に象徴的なイメージの撮影で知られている。他の媒体を使用した活動を拡げつつも、作品の中心は、隣接する環境のリサーチにある。現在、裸眼では見えない周りの現実の様相を視覚化する科学的な方法を研究している。 2015年アールト大学写真学部の修士課程を修了。美術哲学の学位も有している。2009～2010年、多摩美術大学の情報デザイン学科に交換留学生として在籍した。Visual ArtFinlandKatri Naukkarinen is an artist working within the extendedfield of photography. She is best known for hersymbolistic imagery shot with the snapshot method. Expandingthis practice with other media, the core of herwork remains researching the immediate environment.Currently Naukkarinen is looking into scientific methodsof visualizing aspects of the surrounding reality that areinvisible to bare eye.Naukkarinen graduated as Master of Arts from AaltoUniversity’s Department of Photography in 2015 with aprevious degree in Art Philosophy.
