63滞在制作プロジェクト 写真に基づき、いつも私の作品で最も重要なのは視覚化です。しかし、単純なフラッシュライトでは、ありふれた景色の外にいったい何があるのか明らかにしきれないこともあります。異なる手段を使いながら、秋吉台の現実のさまざまな周辺を示す痕跡のコレクションを描き出します。 ツタはゆっくりと、時に巻き込んだり締め上げたりして切断した木々や他の植物の上を這いあがり、周囲を飲み込みます。レーザー顕微鏡を通して見た神聖な池の一滴の水は、微生物の生命でいっぱいです。UV ライトの下では、山は自然と不自然の両側面をあらわにします。電離放射線は、霧箱の中で見られるように、今ここにいる私たちを通過して旅をしています。 ほんの少し違うものを見る冒険に没頭しました。単純な水面の光の揺らぎでさえも粒子の活動を思い出させるほどに。Residence ProjectBuilding upon photography, visibility has always beenparamount to my work. Yet, sometimes a simple flashlightisn’t enough to reveal what stays out of plain sight.With the use of different methods I present a collectionof traces indicating various surrounding Akiyoshidai realitiesVines engulf their surroundings by slowly crawling upupon other vegetation, occasionally dismemberingparts with their tangle and strangle. A single drop ofwater from a sacred pond is full of microbial life whenseen under laser microscopy. The mountain revealsother sides under UV light, both natural and unnatural.Ionizing radiation is traveling through us here and nowas visualized inside the cloud chamber.Immersed in the adventure of looking at things a bit differently,even a simple light flickering on water suddenlyreminds of particle activity.
