イオベット＆ポンズは日常のオブジェや言語について様々な考えに焦点を当て、それらのアイデアは多分野にまたがるプロジェクトの出発点になります。対話や遊び心溢れる検証、ユーモアや皮肉を多用して文脈を注意深く研究することで、社会の重要な主題や陳腐な出来事に取り組みます。イオベット＆ポンズはオブジェや人工物の関係に特に興味があり、日常の要素を上下逆さまにし、それらを巧みな組み合わせで新たな比喩や意味の出現をもたらす重要な物体として用います。Llobet & Pons’ practice focuses on the broad concept of everydayobjects and the language of things, these ideas beingthe starting point for various multidisciplinary projects. Aftera careful study of the context in which they find themselvesworking, through dialogue, through playful investigations andthe frequent use of humour and irony, the artists approachmatters of importance and banality in society.
