テウォン・ホにとって、「青黒いプラスティックの植木鉢」の積み重なりは、急速な産業化や都市化の副産物であり、定住することに失敗した人々の生活を反映する記号表現を意味します。この展示で、彼は（韓国ソウル市近郊の）Yeomni-dong地域にある再開発地域から収集した青黒い植木鉢をその植木鉢の青色を強調するモノクロ絵画や写真と隣り合わせに発表しました。「青」の作品は、移民の生活という文脈を示唆するブルース音楽を思い起こさせるものです。For Taewon Heo, piles of “dark blue plastic pots” are by-productsof rapid industrialization and urbanization as well as signifiersthat reflect the life of people who have failed to settledown. In this exhibition, he juxtaposes the dark blue pots collectedfrom urban redevelopment areas in Yeomni-dong withmonochrome paintings and pictures that highlight the colorblue of the pots.
