最も直接的なコミュニケーションの中にでも、いつも主題の間にはメディアが存在します。非言語的な思考はイメージ、音、言語へ変換され、それらは解釈され、もう一度非言語的な思考へ変換されます。最初の思考と受け止められた思考は決して同じではありません。この隔たりはコミュニケーションにおける何らかの障害とみなされますが、私はある要素として異なったメディアの間に存在する変化過程と考えます。それは新しく興味深い何かを生み出し、そのメディア自体を解明するので、私はそれを私の制作手法の中心的なトピックとして使用しています。Even in the most direct communication there is always amedia between the subjects: A non-verbal thought is transformedinto images, sounds or language, which is interpretedand transformed into a non-verbal thought once again.
