近年の私の作品のコンセプトは「自然でも人工でもない曖昧な環境」である。私たち人間の生きる地球の自然環境は、地球温暖化に代表される様に、常に人間活動の影響を受けている。そして、それによって起こる海面上昇や気候の急激な変化など、自然環境からのフィードバックを人間は日常的に受けている。つまり、自然というものは既に人間の手によって大きく変容されているものとしてあり、それよって人間世界もまた変容していっている。そこには自然と人工という二項対立では括れない領域があり、私はそれを作品を通して探求したい。A concept of my recent works is about “ambiguous environmentthat is neither natural nor artificial”.
