chihhungliu.comリウ・チーホン （台湾）Chih-Hung LIU (Taiwan)20 周年記念ワークショップ第２弾2018/11/17 (SAT)the 20th Anniversary Workshop - vol.02アーティストによる感想山頂の展望台の隣にある「秋吉台科学博物館」に行くことは魅惑的な体験です。動物、植物、昆虫などの化石標本の展示をしっかり見ると、映画「ジュラシック・パーク」に出てくる琥珀の中の美しい蚊のイメージが頭に浮かびます。その資料を読み、鍾乳洞の中で目を開き、秋吉台の特別な地形を訪れると、環境の変化に適合した古代の多くの特徴や様相が保全された美しい場所を発見することができます。観察や熟考、描写に加えて、このワークショップを通した私の希望は、その土地の環境や特別な生命の形を理解することです。そして、紙を切り、イメージを層にして、一般的な素材を使って、平面から生命を感じる立体作品Recollection by the ArtistBeing at the “ Akiyoshidai Museum of Natural History”next to the observation deck atop the mountainis a mesmerizing experience. When you peruse thefossil displays of animals, plants and insect specimens,the image of the beautiful piece of mosquito inamber from the movie “Jurassic Park” always comesto mind. As you peruse the books, open your eyesin the stalactite cave, and visit the special terrain ofAkiyoshidai, you would discover many ancient andbeautiful sights which preserved many features andappearances that have adapted to match the evolvingenvironment.
