Residence Programs海外派遣プログラムThis program provides an opportunity for emergingJapanese artists to work on projects at overseasAIR organizations. Beginning from the first AIRoverseas dispatch program to Taipei Artist Village(Taiwan) in the fiscal year of 2016, AIAV hassent selected Japanese artists to Taipei Artist Village(Taiwan) and Gyeonggi Creation Center(Republicof Korea) in the fiscal year of 2017 and toGrey Projects(Singapore) in the fiscal year of 2018.The participating artists carry out their creative activitiesthrough exchanging ideas and communicatingwith local residents in each place and hold anexhibition to present their works at AIAV or at therelated organizations after the residency overseas.AIAV will strengthen our network with these AIR organizationsoverseas and will provide more opportunitiesfor these Japanese artists to successfullyplay an artistic role for further development.若手日本人アーティストを海外のAIR団体等に派遣し、滞在創作活動に取り組む機会を提供するプログラムです。2016年度に台北國際藝術村（台湾）にアーティストを派遣したのを皮切りに、その翌年度には台北國際藝術村（台湾）とキョンギ・クリエーション・センター（韓国）、2018年度にはこれらの団体にGrey Projects（シンガポール）を加えた3団体にアーティストを派遣しました。派遣されるアーティストは、現地の人々とアイデアを交換しながら創作活動を行い、帰国後には、秋吉台国際芸術村や関係団体で成果発表展を行っています。秋吉台国際芸術村は、これからも海外の様々なAIR団体と連携を強化し、国内のアーティストが海外で活動する場を創出していきます。AiR Overseas Dispatch Program海外協定機関Overseas Partnership Organizations056秋吉台国際芸術村では、公募によるアーティストの選出に加え、協定を結んでいる海外のAIR 団体等から推薦されたアーティストの受入や、秋吉台国際芸術村が選出したアーティストを海外のAIR団体等へ派遣する交換プログラムを実施しています。開村当初には、アメリカやスウェーデンの団体と交換プログラムを実施しており、近年でも複数の団体とアーティストの相互派遣を行っています。今後も、様々な団体とネットワークを構築していくことで、アーティストが国内外で創作活動を行うためのプラットフォームとしての役割を担っていきます。In addition to the selection of artists through theopen call, AIAV accepts artists through recommendationsby overseas AIR organizations inpartnerships and also send Japanese artists whoare nominated by AIAV’s selection committees.At the beginning of AIAV’s establishment, AIAVhad exchange programs with the United States ofAmerica and Sweden and now AIAV has mutualexchange programs with several other organizations.AIAV hopes to play an important role as aplatform for artists to engage in their creative activitiesby forming networks with those organizationsoverseas.
