Blue & Painful Love, 2016, neon light tube, iron pieces, transformer, mosquitoes, H400cm(Φ30)リウ・チーホンは、台湾の新竹市で1985年に生まれました。国立台北芸術大学美術学部修士課程を修了しました。現在、台北を活動拠点とするフリーランスのアーティストです。近年の絵画では人生や個人的な経験を理解する内容を取り扱っています。平凡な視線を通した物語や解釈への彼の取り組みは感情とイメージを強く結びつけます。イメージ、既製品、検証報告、印刷物を取り込み、彼のマルチメディア作品では、何気ない素材の使用、形式的な言語についての一般理解、地域の結びつきの創造と関連する課題提出を試みています。Chih-Hung LIU, born in Hsinchu, Taiwan in 1985. He graduatedfrom M.F.A Program, Department of Fine Arts at TaipeiNational University of the Arts. He is a freelancer/artist wholives and works in Taipei currently. Recent paintings embodyhis understanding of life and his personal experiences. Hisapproach to narration and interpretation from a mundane perspectiveallows him to tightly interlock emotions and images.Incorporating images, ready-made objects, investigation reports,and printed materials, his multimedia work attempts toaddress issues related to the use of ordinary materials, thenotion of formal language, and the creation of local connections.2012 M.F.A.
