私の作品は現代のメディアを通して繋がるコミュニティー、社会、個人の間にある関係性を探求することで、この情報化社会に存在する独立した主体として個人を取り扱います。私が作り出す重層的な物語をもとに、作品とその作品が発表される空間の境界面を構築する手法を用います。現代メディアから過剰な情報を発見し分析することで、直線的ではなく、重層的な物語を通して、様々な絵画やインスタレーションを発表します。My work deals with individuals as independent entities in theinformation society through examining the relationship amongcommunity, society and individuals that are mediated via ourcontemporary media. Based upon multi-layered stories that Icreate, my work takes a form of constructing an interface ofwork and the space in which the work is presented.Each painting and installation work is displayed via nonlinearand literary narrative with multiple layers by discoveringand mapping a plethora of information from the contemporarymedia.Hyelim Cha2006 BFA in Media Art, Kaywon University of Art & Design, Korea2017 Hyelim Cha solo exhibition
