The Principal Horn of the NHK Symphony Orchestra Tokyo. He won the 1st prize at the Horn category of the 77th Japan Music Competition.
As a soloist, he works with orchestras such as Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, The Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra by members of NHK Symphony Orchestra, Yokohama Sinfonietta, Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra, and Tokyo Universal Philharmony Orchestra.
He was invited to many places in Japan, U.S. and Europe, and also performed as the soloist at various Festivals such as \u201cla Biennale di Venezia\u201d, \u201cLa Folle Journ\u00e9e au JAPON\u201d and \u201cSpring Festival in Tokyo\u201d.
He released his 3 Solo CDs and the live recording CD of Richard Strauss\u2019s Concert No.2 by KING RECORDS, and many CDs of chamber music by Octavia Records. His CDs are selected as choice discs in the music magazine \u201cTHE RECORD GEIJUTSU\u201d published by Ongaku No Tomo Sha Corp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kana OKADA (Piano)<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Born in Hakodate. Went to France at the age of 15. She graduated from the Piano and Chamber courses of the Conservatoire National Sup\u00e9rieur de Musique de Paris with unanimous approval. She obtained her Dipl\u00f4me de Formation Sup\u00e9rieure de Piano with the greatest honors in June 2010, a degree in chamber music in 2011 and in June 2013, she obtained her Master\u2019s Degree. She appears regularly in Japan and countries in Europe now.
She worked with orchestras such as Belgium National Orchestra, Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra, Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra and Chubu Philharmonic Orchestra, and conductors such as Marin Alsop, Paul Meyer, Helmuth Reichel Silva, Kristiina Poska, Ken-ichiro Kobayashi, Junichi Hirokami, Kazufumi Yamashita, Takeshi Ooi, Masahiko Enkoji, Keiko Mitsuhashi, So Awatsuji.
She was invited by numerous festivals such as Festival Piano en Saintonge(France) with the art director Anne Queff\u00e9lec, the Folle Journ\u00e9e in Japan, and got good presses. She also appeared Japanese TV and radio such as NHK-FM \u201cRecital Nova\u201d, \u201cKira Cla!\u201d and \u201cMeikyoku Album\u201d.
She is the prizewinner of many music competitions. She won the 1st prize at the 8th Poulenc International Piano Competition(France) in 2013, the 1st prize at the 12th Piano Campus International Competition(France) in 2013. She was also well-known as the finalist at Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition of Belgium in 2016.
She studied the Piano under Kazuko KAMO, Katsumi UEDA, Haruko UEDA, Georges PLUDERMACHER, Frank BRALEY, the Chamber Music under Claire DESERT, Itamar GOLAN, Bruno Pasquier.
