Emblem is the sign such as the pictogram indicates emergency exit, toilet etc., and also the symbols indicate companys’ and cars’ brand mark, crests, etc.
We are going to try to find and make emblems using your ordinary things through this design workshop with joy.
Asao Tokolo is the artist who has been designed logo-mark of people & companies, and　patterns for the wall, floor and ceiling of architectures and clothes.

Profile

Asao Tokolo has been working in a wide range of fields, such as art, architecture and design. He has put his energy on producing his original graphic patterns which are called Tokolo Patterns. The theme of this project is “Link”. Each piece has its own different character design, but all pieces can be linked with each others. Even if you turn or shift the pieces, the pieces shall be linked and create a new design. Therefore, the pattern has infinite expressions and people can feel deep and infinite Tokolo world.
