Open Call for Residence Fellowship Program 2013-2014AiR

1. Residency period

Maximum of 1 month during the period from April 2013 to March 2014

2. Eligible applicants

Applicants should respond to either one.
1. Artists who have funding from international/national foundation or organization
2. Artists who have stayed at AIAV for the residency program
3. Artists who have a reference from international/national governmental, educational or cultural exchange foundations
4. Artists who have a reference from the Selection Committee of the Residence Program of Akiyoshidai International Art Village or the Steering Committee, (Advisory Council).

3. Support

1. Fee for accommodation at AIAV
2. Fee for studio (there are various types of studios: the allocation of studio is decided by AIAV)
3. Fee for usage of facilities at AIAV

4. Applicants’ requirement

1. should communicate in English
2. should be supportive in providing materials for publicity and archiving
3. should participate in the exchange program for the local people, e.g. workshop, lecture and networking event
4. should stay at AIAV for applicants’ own activities

5. How to apply

1. Applicants should download the application and fill in all the required fields in the form (photocopies or other formats are also accepted as long as the necessary information is provided).

2. Submit your CV in English (typed) and attach a reference, if you are applicable to 2-(3) or 2-(4)
3. Attach a portfolio with descriptions of each work

*None of the items you submit can be returned.
*Submitted information is only used for selection and not for any other purpose.

6. Deadline

Applications are accepted from April 2013 until January 2014.

7. Period of judgment

Approximately one month after receipting of application.

8. Announcement

We will inform all applicants of the result.
