Salon
The cubic structure of the concrete that was lifted up to four legs and used as a salon for the staying guests, is a private house “N mansion” built in Oita city by the design of Arata Isozaki in 1964. It has been demolished and rebuilt.
About space
The exterior of the salon resembles a shape of dice. The architect, Arata Isozaki, originally designed it in 1964 for a private residence in Oita city, which is one of his signature works. There is a big glass window for you to enjoy the beautiful scape of AIAV.
Provided as a common space for guests. Video monitor, audio equipment, and listening rooms are available.
