Born and lives in Hungary. Being inspired by Junichiro Tanizaki, he is developing art works using light and shadow. He has participated in artist residencies in Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Finland, France, South Korea and more countries.

Venue : Seminar room 3

Lives in Yamaguchi-city. He uses nature things around us as a motif and mixed his own color sensce, he is vigorously publishing drowning and other works mainly in Yamaguchi. He won a grand prize on the 70th Yamaguchi Prefecture Art Exhibition.
Supported artist of Yamaguchi Young Artist Support Program in 2016.

Klára Petra Szabó

Klára Petra Szabó is an artist / designer / art teacher. She was born in Hungary, and lives and works in Budapest. Mainly She works with watercolor. She likes the combination of her watercolor paintings with design ideas, too. She studied applied arts at the University of West-Hungary, Institute of Applied Arts in Sopron as an MA designer. In 2008, She went to Denmark with The Royal Danish Ministry of Education Scholarship. Since 2009 the Hungarian VILTIN Gallery represent her as an artist. After the university She has been participated in several Artist in Residency Programs (e.g. Japan, Estonia, Austria, England, South Korea).

Special Performance “Japanese Candle and Japanese Dance”

With “narration” by Jukanfuku Hanayagi, original dance is performed by Japanese dance performer Jukan Hanayagi under the wavering Japanese candle’s light.

Workshop “LIGHTS OF THE LAND”

Play with light and shadow.
Participated artist, Tamás Szvet invites you to the workshop to take photo of a shadow picture reflected from a mirror that has cutting paper by using a mobile phone’s flash unit.

Artist: Minna Kurjenluoma (Finland)

Born in 1977. She received a masters degree in Photography from the University of Arts and Design in Helsinki in 2005.
She has exhibited in group and solo exhibitions in Finland and Scandinavia and she has been in several artist recidencies in Iceland, Norway and Greenland.
